Full or
partial concessions of the college fees for the academic year 2024-25 may be
available to students who are facing financial hardship and find in difficult
to pay the college fees. Such students, who meet the eligibility criterion
below and are desirous of availing the fee concession, may apply to the college
in prescribed e-form accessible at the Kirori Mal College website at the
following link, along with the scanned copies of all relevant documents, latest
by February 24, 2025:

Eligibility Criterion for Application:
For General Students:
Students, whose parents’/guardian’s combined gross annual income
from all sources does not exceed Rs.3,60,000
per annum. A 10% relaxation of the income limit is applicable for the female
students.
For SC/ST/OBC/PH Students:
Students, whose
parents’/guardian’s combined gross annual income from all sources does not
exceed Rs.4,20,000 per annum. A 10%
relaxation of the income limit is applicable for the female students.
Documents Required:
(1) Total gross income/s of Parents/Guardian in the current (2024-25)
or previous financial year (2023-24). This could be an income certificate
issued by the employer /copy of income tax return / affidavit by
parent/guardian disclosing the gross annual income. If the income certificate
cannot be attached with the form the student has to compulsorily bring it at
the time of the interview.
(2) Details of the student’s bank
account: A copy of a cancelled cheque or photocopy of the front page of the
passbook showing name, account number and IFSC code. Please note that the
bank account must be in the student’s name.
NOTE:
There is only limited
fund available for fee concession, so students who are not genuinely needy are
requested not to apply for this.
The committee will
call the applicants for a face to face or online interview on a notified date
and may also ask for any additional information or documents.
The decision to
allow fee concession and the extent of it for each individual applicant will be
made by the Fee Concession Committee of the college. The committee’s decision
will be final regarding this matter.
Any student
found guilty of submitting false proof of income or making false claims will
face strict disciplinary action.
