  PROSPECTUS

The hostel is an integral part of the college family. Its 89 rooms house about I70 students both from India and abroad. It has an intercom facility. The hostel adds a dimension of vigor and commitment to the academic and extra curricular ambience of the institution. Students desirous of residing at the College hostel should apply on the prescribed form available in the Hostel Office. Only those students whose parents do not reside in Delhi are eligible to apply. Hostel seats are allocated to various classes/courses, and admission is made on the basis of merit. Details regarding hostel rules and regulations and mode of payment of fees will be available at the college hostel office between 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. on all working days. We are planning to have a girl's hostel soon.

To make Kirori Mal Hostel the best hostel of Delhi University. To provide best facilities to the residents. Providing a home away from home environment. To provide an environment for academic excellence. To inculcate the spirit of discipline and hard work among the residents. To work for the welfare of the hostel staff.

Hostel Warden Office

The Warden's office is used for Hostel Admission Committee meetings and Hostel Union meetings. Warden monitors hostel activities through CCTV Cameras.

Junior Assistant and Typist sitin this office. Students taking admission inthe hostel have to submit thehostel enrollment form to thisoffice. Deposit of hostel fee. Information regarding allocation of rooms.

About Rooms

Total 90 rooms in the hostel toaccommodate about 180 malestudents. Most of the rooms are twoseater. There are also triple seaterrooms. Rooms to each student areprovided with wardrobe, bed,study table, chair and fan.

About Hostel Union

the students of the hostel form thehostel union through a democraticelection process. The number of Mess Secretaries is 6; Inwhich 2 members from third year, 2from second year and 2 members fromfirst year are included. The annual budget for hostel operationand various works is decided in themeeting of the hostel union under thechairmanship of the warden. The union is made up of the following:-
