Since its inception on 1st February 1954, the
Sanskrit Department of Kirori Mal College has been enhancing its reputation. In
this journey of 69 years, this department has handed over
scholars with good manners to the country, who are establishing the spirit of
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्) in various fields. Here learned
teachers like Dr. Ravindra Nagar, Dr. Pandit Shiv Narayan Shastri and Dr.
Mayawati have played their tireless role in realizing the dreams of the
students. Pandit Shiv Narayan Shastri has been a world class scholar. This is
the temple of learning where the children are cultured and inspired for nation
building. At present there are 6 teachers working here who
are experts in their respective fields.
