FAPS - THE FINE ARTS & PHOTOGRAPHY SOCIETY
The Fine Arts and Photography Society at Kirori Mal College is a vibrant collective of students passionate about arts.
It encompasses and promotes diverse mediums of expression, including but not limited to -fine arts,photography, sculpting,
videography and hone their skills. It also organises various events and exhibitions throughout the year which showcase student
talent, and foster a spirit of healthy competition. Renowned for its dedication to artistic excellence and creative expression,
FAPS has emerged as one of the most premier societies within the college as well as throughout the Delhi University circuit.
- GENERAL TRIALS: The students of the College were provided an opportunity to be a part the Society through the general trials. Approximately one hundred candidates appeared for the trials and twenty were selected through critical rounds of evaluation and screening so as to maintain the level of the quality of the work that is expected from a member of FAPS.
- COLLEGE BEAUTIFICATION PROFJECT: Society members enhanced the college aesthetics through initiatives such as entrance wall painting and staff room decoration, which showcase their artistic skills and creativity.
- G20 AIKYAM 2: Members of the society also unveiled remarkable pieces of are, such as sculptures and linocut paintings, on the occasion of the G20 Celebrations within the college, each capturing unique aspects of life and beauty, and showcasing exceptional artistic talent.
- FOUNDER'S SAY CELEBRATIONS: FAPS significantly contributed to the event through a captivating exhibition of artworks and photographs, earning praise from Chief Guests and attendees alike.
- BHARAT LOTERATURE FESTIVAL: FAPS made major contributions to the decoration and beautification of the college premises, showcasing a wide range of artworks and photographs, and designing creative photobooth backdrops.
- ARTWALKS AND PHOTOWALKS: ArtWalk and Photo walks organized by the Society of Kirori MAL College are integral to the society's activities, offering members invaluable practical experience and creative inspiration. The Fine Arts and Photography society follows a collaborative structure of management,
wherein the President and Vice President, taking into account inputs from all other members,
are responsible for making the major decisions and guiding the direction of the society.
They are aided in their work by the two general secretaries by ensuring smooth flow of
information among all members of the society. The administrative as well as creative work
is distributed among and undertaken by all members of the society.
