SCHEDULE FOR THE SELECTION PROCESS OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN THE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT, KMC

The First Stage (Assessment by the Presentation Assessment Committee) of the selection process for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry will be held as per the following schedule:

*The candidates should come prepared with a presentation (preferably MS PowerPoint) consisting of a maximum 8 slides including all the topics mentioned above. Every candidate will be allotted maximum 8 minutes for presenting before the Presentation Assessment Committee.
Candidates who will not appear for the First Stage (Assessment by the Presentation Assessment Committee) will not be allowed to appear for the Second Stage (Assessment by the Selection Committee) of the selection process.
The candidates would be assessed on parameters like communication skills, presentation skills, organization of the contents, subject knowledge, conduct with special reference to humility and compassion, passion and zeal for teaching.
The Second Stage (Assessment by the Selection Committee) of the selection process for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry will be held as per the following schedule:

For the purpose of verification, the candidates are required to bring all their original certificates and testimonials regarding academic qualification, reserved category, work experience, and research experience. The candidates are also required to bring their original documents/certificates/
The candidates are also required to submit an additional set of their application form, self-attested photocopy of the testimonials, certificates, publications, experience letters, reserved category certificate and other relevant documents at the time of presentation.
The onus for proving the authenticity of the relevant documents/certificates/
The candidates are also expected to place their M.Phil. dissertation and Ph.D. thesis, wherever applicable, and best and latest publications, in original, before the Presentation Assessment Committee during the presentation.
The candidates serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings (including Board/Autonomous Bodies) are required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of interview. The NOC should also indicate the vigilance and integrity certificate from the parent department.
As indicated, this is only a communication informing about the schedule of First Stage and Second Stage of the selection process for the posts detailed above. The appearance in the presentation (First Stage) will be subject to the verification of the documents/information/
Appearing for the presentation (First Stage) does not guarantee selection/appointment. No representation will be entertained in this respect.
The college is not responsible for any boarding/lodging expenses and T.A./D.A. of the candidates.
The candidates are advised to check the college website regularly for further updates.
Emails to all the shortlisted candidates have also been sent regarding the above schedule by official college e-mail ‘info@kmc.du.ac.in’.
In case of any exigency, College reserves the right to cancel or postpone the presentation without assigning any reason thereof.
Note: The lists of the provisionally shortlisted candidates annexed along with this letter contain the details of the shortlisted candidates of respective categories in the ascending order of their application number.
