GUIDELINES FOR PREVENTION OF DEFACEMENT OF PROPERTY

NOTICE
As per the notification (DU/124/LEGAL-6272(17)/2025/237), issued by University of Delhi,
In order to avoid any defacement of the College property following guidelines are issued by The College Committee for Prevention of Defacement of Property.
Any act of Defacement/Damage to public property and nonadherence to these Guidelines shall amount to gross indiscipline. It shall attract consequent punishment provisions in the relevant Ordinance of the University.
Defacement of college property includes sticking of bills/posters/stickers on non- designated areas/spaces, writing on walls/furniture/trees etc. as well as any sort of alterations in the original state of the college property.
In case of nonadherence to the notified guidelines by indulging in any act of defacement, person(s) benefiting shall be liable for fines up to Rs 25,000.
Students/Societies/Departments are encouraged to use e-communication platforms (such as emails, messaging apps, and social media) for campaigning/promotion, thereby moving away from paper-based materials.
No bills shall be pasted at spaces in the college other than those designated by the committee.

Towards Hostel Entry Gate (For College)
Outside Library (For College)
Backside of Academic Auditorium towards Canteen Lawn (For College)
Towards the entry to Main building (For DUSU candidates)
